LAND ROVER joins in a venture with Sonim Technologies,for making eco-friendly mobile phones.LAND ROVER has its very own unique identity as a car company,so do they want to do with the mobiles.The one in the above pic is the first (LAND ROVER S1) of the three mobile phone series.

The LAND ROVER S1 and S2 G4 are will be rugged and could survive fog,salt,humidity and a 1.6 meter fall from any angle.Bluetooth feature would also be included.Keeping them eco-friendly would be the post-consumer plastic and recycled material.

The S1 and S2 G4 would be out hopefully in the middle of 2009 and the third one in 2010.This one mobile i sure wan't to have.What about you?.
